Quality Discount Patios, Inc. offers the AMERIMAX ALUMAWOOD product.  Your kit is specifically engineered by the geological information for your property and your specific patio cover design.  Gauge thickness of the Alumawood is determined primarily by the projection of the cover out from the house wall.  We are finding many people are a little confused by numerous contractors claiming they provide a thicker gauge and warning to be aware of the thicker gauge provided by "other contractors".  Please know that manufacturers are held to standards of how thick the gauge must be for each kit's size.  No manufacturer would want the liability of providing too thin of a gauge for the application.
